OVID-19 claims 78 lives, 3447 tested positive in last 24 hours


ISLAMABAD, May 10 (Online): Corona virus claimed 78 lives while 3447 people tested positive during the last 24 hours in Pakistan.
According to the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC), with addition of 3,447 new cases, nation wide tally of fatalities has ascended to the level of 861473. The tally of fatalities all over the country has soared to 18993.
37,756 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours out of which 3,447 persons were tested positive. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 9.12 percent.
So far, 753,712 patients have recuperated from the disease.
The most number of deaths from the virus over the past 24 hours took place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 27 people passed away while Punjab came in second, as 26 people lost life due to corona virus. One casualty was reported in Balochistan..
