IHC CJ appreciates district administration IBD for taking action against forced labor at brick kilns

ISLAMABAD, May 17 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Athar Minallah has lauded the action taken by Islamabad administration for ending forced labor at brick kilns.

The forced labor case came up for hearing before CJ IHC Monday.
The administration told the court that cases were registered against the owners of brick kilns.

CJ IHC lauded the work done by the assistant commissioner.

Assistant counsel Daniyal Hassan told the court the IBD district administration took action against the forced labor as per court’s orders. Complete facility was provided to the laborers who wanted to go home. The cases have also been registered against owners of brick kilns who had given advanced loans. .

CJ IHC remarked “ Islamabad administration has done great job. We appreciate such efforts. Its detailed report be filed in the court on next hearing.

The court while ordering to continue to implement court’s orders on ending the forced labor in federal capital adjourned the hearing of the case till next month.
