Positivity ratio of COVID-19 cases on decline


ISLAMABAD, MAY 28 (ONLINE): More 67 persons lost their lives due to corona virus during past 24 hours amid the reports that graph of active cases has descended in the country.

According to the latest statistics issued by the National Command and Operation Centre’s (NCOC) Friday 2482 people tested positive during the last 24 hours all over the country taking the positive cases to 913784.
Country reported a positivity ratio below 5% for the fourth consecutive day on Friday.

The death toll has risen to 20607 with the inclusion of 67 fatalities during the last 24 hours. 51625 corona tests were conducted during the past 24 hours

As per NCOC data , Sindh has reported 314,158 cases, Punjab 337,775, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 131,411, Islamabad 80,927, Balochistan 24,908, Azad Jammu and Kashmir 19,060, and Gilgit Baltistan 5,545 so far.
Number of active patients of corona stands at 58611 while over 4000 patients are said to be in critical condition.
As per NCOC data 2822 patients were recovered from corona virus in a day bringing the tally of recoveries to 834566.
