A new Tsunami of inflation is in the offing due to indirect taxes slapped by PTI government: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari
ISLAMABAD, June 14 (Online): PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said a new tsunami of inflation is in the offing as indirect tax of billion of rupees has been imposed on essential commodities of common man.
In a statement issued here Monday he said IMF employees worked out the budget and gave it to Imran Khan which was presented in National Assembly (NA) as it is without any consideration.
He went on to say recipes of economic murder of the people are mentioned on every page of selected and anti people budget.
It is what if not a tragedy that overseas Pakistanis are sending remittances more than the income being earned from exports, he underlined.
He remarked that theft of Imran Khan of levying indirect tax of billion of rupees rather than direct tax has been caught. The prices of petrol are going to be increased by Rs20 per liter and sugar by Rs 7 per kilogram due to indirect taxes but we will thwart this bid of the government.
When the people started online purchases due to corona virus, Imran Khan slapped tax on online purchasing too, he said adding where the common people should go now.
