We oppose Army’s ‘political role’, says PML-N Iqbal

Islamabad – June 14 (Online): The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal Monday said that govt has made institutions controversial, adding that PML-N only talks against Army’s alleged involvement in politics.
While having a conversation with media men outside Accountability Court in Islamabad, Ahsan Iqbal asked whether what kind of accountability was going on in country. “Zulfi Bukhari flew abroad through private plan, while fake cases were created against me”, the PML-N leader complained.
“Today the country is administratively paralyzed and economically bankrupted”, Ahsan Iqbal said adding that Prime Minister’s only motive is to send opposition leaders to jail.
The PML-N leader and former federal minister alleged that govt had given ‘NRO’ to individuals involved in Sugar scandal. “Clean chit was given to friends and closed ones by sacking DG FIA”, Ahsan Iqbal maintained.
The PML-N General Secretary further said that govt’s ‘fake accountability’ is now clearly evident. PML-N’s Pakistan could refuse openly US president on any matter. These social media trends can no longer save this incompetent govt, said Ahsan Iqbal.
