Positivity ratio hits low ebb


ISLAMABAD, June 15 (Online): Covid-19 third wave is hitting lowest ebb gradually as only 838 persons tested positive lowering the positivity ratio to 2.39 percent during the last 24 hours in the country.

59 fatalities occurred taking the tally of deaths to 21782 in the country.

As many as 35039 corona tests were conducted and 838 persons tested positive taking the tally of positive cases to 943027. 880316 patients have recovered.
In terms of vaccination, the NCOC said that 20,412 people were fully vaccinated in the last 24 hours, while so far, 3,006,048 people have been fully vaccinated in the country since the vaccination drive began this year.
In the last 24 hours, as per the NCOC, 368,825 people were partially vaccinated, while a total of 5,902,003 have so far been partially vaccinated in the country
The active cases stand at 40929 while 2611 patients are stated to be in precarious condition.
