IHC issues notice to AG on the petition filed against new rules for admission into medical colleges


ISLAMABAD, June 29 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notice to Attorney General (AG) on a petition filed against new rules in connection with admission into medical colleges.
The court issued directives that AG should assist the court on important legal point.

A single bench of IHC presided over by Justice Mian Gul Aurangzeb took up the case for hearing Tuesday.
The rules worked out by Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) were challenged by Medical Colleges Association (MCA).

Barrister Asad Rahim appeared on behalf of MCA.

The court remarked we call AG and then we see it.

The court while issuing notice to AG adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks.
