Pakistan, Niger enjoy brotherly, stable relations: FM

ISLAMABAD, August 10 (Online): Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said Pakistan and Niger are enjoying brotherly and stable relations and Pakistan is pursuing economic preferential agenda as per vision of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
The visiting President Niger National Assembly Seyni Oumarou along with delegation visited foreign office in Islamabad on Tuesday and held important meeting with FM Qureshi.

They exchanged views on bilateral relation, boosting cooperation in diverse sectors and matters of mutual interest.
FM said Pakistan wants to promote cooperation with African countries, including Niger, in diverse fields, particularly trade and economy.
The Foreign Minister said bilateral cooperation between the two countries at all international forums, including the United Nations, is also satisfying.
He said promotion of parliamentary ties between the two countries is also a welcome development.
The Foreign Minister thanked the Niger leadership for full support to resolution of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in the meeting.
Both the leaders welcomed the Parliamentary Cooperation Agreement between Pakistan and Niger.
The President of Niger National Assembly appreciated Pakistan’s assistance in difficult times and thanked Pakistan’s leadership in this regard.
