A no-confidence petition was filed against Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on Wednesday, reigniting political upheaval in Balochistan.
According to reports, former Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal and PTI politician Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind submitted the no-trust resolution, which has 14 signatories.
Former Balochistan Chief Minister and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) leader Sardar Jam Kamal told the media after submitting the no-trust motion that the current government should address the situation.
He also stated that the Balochistan government was ineffective. Our friends and I had misgivings about the Balochistan government for seven months.
Members of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) filed a no-confidence motion against their party’s Chief Minister Jam Kamal on October 25, 2021. He did, however, retire before the movement began.
A no-confidence motion was also filed against PML-Balochistan N’s Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri on January 9, 2018. He had also quit before to the uprising.
Following Sanaullah Zehri’s resignation, the current Chief Minister, Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, assumed the position of Chief Minister. The PML-N was the province’s major political party at the time.
