PM seeks Interior Ministry’s plan to tackle PTI long march


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday sought plan from the Interior Ministry to handle the upcoming long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), set to reach Islamabad on Wednesday.

Sources from government confirmed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to present a comprehensive plan to ensure law and order in federal capital during the long march.

PTI chairman and former PM Imran Khan on Sunday announced his party will march towards the federal capital, and his party workers from all over the country would meet at Islamabad’s Srinagar Highway on May 25.

Government sources confirmed in this regard that federal cabinet in its next meeting is expected to make big decisions in light with Interior Ministry’s report.
