LHC orders to release 123 PTI workers

LAHORE, May 20 (Online): Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered to release 123 PTI workers from Faisalabad.
PTI leader Farrukh Habib petition challenging detention of 123 PTI workers and seeking their recovery came up for hearing before single bench of LHC led by Justice Anwar ul Haq Saturday.

The counsel for Farrukh Habib took the plea before the court Farrukh Habib is information secretary of PTI and the arrested people are workers of PTI.
The court remarked it would have been more appropriate had the family members of the arrested persons resorted to court.

After hearing the arguments of the lawyers from both sides the court suspended the notification of the detention of PTI 123 workers and ordered to release them.
