Qureshi thanks his Turkish counterpart for adopting unequivocal, consistent stance on Kashmir issue


ISLAMABAD, October 07 (ONLINE): Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has thanked Turkish FM Mevlüt Çavusoglu for pursuing persistent, unequivocal and categorical stance by Turkey with reference to Kashmir issue.

Qureshi contacted his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavusoglu by telephone and exchanged views on bilateral ties between Pakistan and Turkey, regional situation and matter of mutual interest.

The two foreign ministers agreed on continuing consultation process on the regional issues and matters of mutual interest.

Qureshi extended invitation his Turkish counterpart to visit Pakistan which was accepted by the latter.

Qureshi there is commonly of views among Turkey and Pakistan on key regional and international issues which is good omen.

He underlined the way Turkish President President Recep Tayyip Erdogan raised the voice over Indian forces brutalities against the innocent Kashmiris at the 75th session of the UN General Assembly , this has given courage and confidence to the Kashmiri people.

Qureshi reiterated Pakistan is determined to play its role for peace process in Afghanistan and regional peace.

Turkish FM lauded Pakistan role for establishment of peace in the region and its efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
