All set to shift more financial burden over Rs 10 billion to electricity consumers

Preparations have been made to shift more financial burden of Rs 10.54 billion to the electricity consumers.

The power distribution companies have filed application with NEPRA in this regard.

NEPRA said the power distribution companies have sought adjustment in respect of third quarterly of this financial year.

The hearing of the application of power distribution companies will take place on June 15.

LESCO has requested to recover Rs 4.34 billion while PESCO has made request for recovery of Rs 2.07 billion . GEPCO Rs 1.97 billion, IESCO Rs 1 billion, MEPCO Rs 1.8 billion and HESCO Rs 1.91 billion.
