Sindh Police Chief AIG Ghulam Nabi Memon has been appointed

Ghulam Nabi Memon was named Inspector General of Sindh by the federal government on Thursday (IG).
Memon has been appointed as Sindh police head, according to a notification issued by the Establishment Division. He replaces Additional Inspector General Dr Kamran Fazal, who has been acting IG since May 18.
Mr Ghulam Nabi Memon, a BS-21 officer of the Pakistan Police Service currently serving under the Government of Sindh, is transferred and posted as Provincial Police Officer (PPO), Government of Sindh, under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973, with immediate effect and until further orders, according to the notification.
