5.2 magnitude earthquake jolts Islamabad, several parts of KP

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Islamabad and several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at noon on Tuesday. .

As per reports, tremors were felt in Islamabad and several parts of KP including Mardan, Swat, Swabi and Malakand.

According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre Islamabad, the epicenter of moderate intensity quake was Koh-e-Hindukush region Afghanistan at a depth of 204 kilometers.

People after feeling tremors came out of their homes in panic reciting verses from the Holy Quran.

No loss of life and property has been reported so far.
