Embassies to review Afghan nationals visa applications on basis of current nationality: PM


Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif has said federal cabinet has accorded approval to changes in visa policy for Afghan nationals.

He said in his tweets Pakistan embassies will review visa applications of Afghan nationals on the basis of the current nationality. Multiple visa will be issued to Afghan drivers and transporters for one year.

The process for issuance of visa be completed within 48 years.

He has directed the Interior Ministry to work on a more liberal visa policy.

He underlined this facilitation in the visa regime is aimed at bringing both countries closer, helping Afghan people and attracting business and investment from wider Central Asian region.
